Change of a course....

The last few weeks I've learned quite a bit.  I have been feeling like I'm on a different course than what I have been on for the last 9 years.  It feels like my sense of creativity and desires are changing on how I'm scrapbooking my family's memories. At the very beginning, I was all about "all out there", now I'm at the point where I'm wanting to simplify things. I don't know if this course is a permanent one or it's just to give me a different view on how simple scrapbooking can be.  I am hoping with time that I will find my groove and work from there. So please be patience with me if my works are far in between posts.

Until then.

Hi, Jen, I think it's fine to change styles and directions! Have you heard of Simple Stories? I just found their papers, and I love them! I've only used them for 12x12 layouts, but I was thinking I might try one of the pocket pages that they're designed for to simplify my own albums. We'll see! Anyway, can't wait to see what you do with your new direction, hugs, Roxy.

Memory Works sells the Simple Stories, layout packages, and the page protectors to go with, similar to that Project Life thing. I want to start but am so damn scared. I just don't have the time it seems like but it does seem easier than traditional scrapbooking where every page has to be a mini work of art which I know I definitely don't have time for! LOL
